Alameda Troops 7 & 2 and Crew 2 Needs-Based Campership Application

The Scoutmasters of Troop 2 & 7 and the Adult Leader of Crew 2 feel that finances should not prevent a Scout from being able to attend Scouting events. As a result, a Campership (camp scholarship) fund has been established for Troop 2, Troop 7, and Venture Crew 2 Scouts/Crewmates who may need financial assistance.

Annual Troop Fees

Each Scout and Adult Leader pays annual dues to support Troop 7's operating costs.

Annual Troop Fees for Scouts - $145 + $4.00 PayPal transaction fee 

Outing & Summer Camp Fees

Outing fees are required when an outing is not fully covered by the troop budget. If there is a fee associated with a particular outing, the amount and due date for paying that fee will be included on the activity RSVP in Troop Kit.  

A limited number of need-based scholarships are available.

Paypal is the easiest way for Troop 7 to accept and process payments. To help cover the cost of our merchant fee (what PayPal charges us), a surcharge of ~3% of the transaction has been added. 

If you prefer to pay by check, make the check out to "BSA TROOP 2" and write your Scout's name and where the check should be applied on the front of the check. Give your check directly to one of the Scoutmasters. The surcharge does not need to be added for fees paid by check.
